Qingdao YiShui Road has numerous buildings of historical significance dating back to the early 1900′s when the Germans occupied Qingdao.

YiShui Road begins at Qingdao Medical University Hospital located at 16 JiangSu Road, across the street from the old German Lutheran Church.

This is perhaps the best place to start your sightseeing journey through Qingdao’s Old Town.   Topping the list on YiShui Road is the Old American Consulate (photographed above).
