This coastal region of Mount Lao (Láo Shān 崂山) Scenic Area in Qingdao is located south of Jufeng Peak facing Liuqing River Bay. In the center of the river mouth sits Laogong Island. Baoyu Dao (Abalone) Island 崂山鲍鱼岛, which is actually a peninsula, is a breeding ground for local abalone. Other attractions in the area include the Reservoir of Liuqing River, Jianjun, and Tizi (Ladder) Stone.
