Fred Greguras, a former US Marine, came to Qingdao to trace the footsteps of the 6th Marine Division stationed here in Qingdao (Tsingtao) back in 1945 at the end of World War II to assist Chiang Kai-Shek’s government in the surrender and disarmament of Japanese troops.
