The Christian Protestant (Lutheran) Church, perched on top of a hill looking south towards Qingdao Bay, is kitty-corner from the old American Consulate and German Naval Hospital. The church is located at 15 JiangSu Road across from 1 YiShui Road in Qingdao (TsingTao) Old Town.
The Christian Protestant (Lutheran) Church located in Qingdao Old Town (TsingTau) was built by the Germans at the beginning of the 20th century. The church began construction in 1908 and was completed in 1910. The photograph of inaugural opening ceremony, depicted above, was taken on October 23, 1910.
