The Qingdao Station Hotel, located in Old Town on LanShan Road, is situated 50 meters east of the ShiNan District Train Station.Completed in 1910 and situated at the east end of the Rail Way Square, this “L” shaped building has a polygon tower with second floor balcony. During the early 1900’s the proprietor of the Qingdao Station Hotel, R. Martwig of Germany, ensured that all of his new and returning guests enjoyed the best Qingdao Old Town had to offer.
青岛车站饭店旧址： 位于青岛火车站广场东侧的车站饭店是一座典型的欧式建筑，建筑面积约2200平方米，高三层，沿道路呈”L“形展开。转角处设计为多边形塔楼，上部高耸复曲线状尖顶。山墙为新巴洛克式风格。坡屋顶上附加老虎窗。主入口设在面向车站的西侧，入口顶部设有长条式阳台，阳台栏杆上的花纹属于晚期哥特形式，塑有鱼鳔纹的雅稻，在后来的德国新文艺复兴式建筑中也常常被用做装饰图案。该建筑约建造于1910年前，当时的业主是R.玛特维希。

Building of history. Very nice and very well renovated. Worth, stolling around… passind Seemandhaus (Sailors home) till the Catholic Church. Lot so see – lot to do
