Qingdao Sailing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad:
The Qingdao Sailing Committee, subordinate of the Beijing Organizational Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad is an independent and legal representative entity. It is the primary and organizational institution for the Sailing Regatta for the 29th Olympic Games. Its' primary responsibility is to prepare and conduct the Sailing Regatta in the 29th Olympic games.

This Sub-committee is a branch of the Beijing Olympic Organizational Committee. It receives dual leadership from the Beijing Olympic Organizational Committee and the Qingdao Municipal Government. Simultaneously, it accepts instructions directly from the Chinese Water Sports Administration.

It consists of 8 divisions at present: General Offices, Human Resources Department, Games Services Department, Construction and Environment Protection Department, Culture and Ceremonies Department, Communications and Media Operations Department, Technology Department and Sports Competition Department. Other departments will be generated as work preparations progress.

Human Resources Department:
Human Resources Department is responsible for the recruitment, the training and management of the paid staff and volunteers, the establishment of the rules and regulations, the management and distribution of the uniforms, the performance check and inspiration of the staff. Long Beach - Qingdao Sister Cities Association:
Established on April 12, 1985, the mission of the Long Beach-Qingdao Sister City Association is to promote understanding between Long Beach, California, in the United States of America, and Qingdao, Shandong Province, in the People's Republic of China, by pledging to assist exchange and trade between the people of the two great cities.
