There are many events this weekend that I would like to pass on to you guys.  First of all Zhan Shan Temple is open and expecting many people to attend their celebration of the New Year.  Saturday January 28^th is New Year Eve (Qu Xi) and Zhan Shan Temple will be open.  Most people will show up between 10:00-1:00am.  Try to come early.  Locals that the thatsQingdao.com team talked to said that it should be a good time.  Keep in mind the temple fair is held there which will be active as of Sunday morning.

Lichuan Fair
In Licun, the faire that is hosted every lunar day that has a 2 or 7 in it, will hold its Licun "End of the Year Faire."  The event should be magnificent, with all sorts of cultural things for sale including antiques.  You can get their by taking bus #318 to Licang Guang Chang bus stop and doubling back a little bit to the faire area. Keep in mind while you are out there you can also take a cab to the Fa Hai Si Temple. Unfortuantely I don’t think there are any buses that go directly to the faire.
