This is part one of a Six part series. It will explore the entire Qingdao seaside sightseeing pathway. Everyone is invited to join our sightseeing adventure. Below is general information about the pathway and our Sightseeing Pathway walks.
The seaside sightseeing path is the center peace of the Qingdao coastline. It starts in Tuandao and ends in Shandong Tou at ShiLaoRen “Old Stone Man” or vice versa depending on direction of travel. On your journey you'll pass several bays, capes, gorges, islands and gulfs. It is a walk! It covers a distance of 40.6 Kilometers.
The Qingdao Municipal Gardening Environmental Regulatory Office and the Qingdao Landscape Planning & Designing Research Institute govern the seaside path. Many parts of the walk way have been reconstructed in prepartion of the 2008 Olympic Sailing Regatta and include: Olympic Village, MaiDao Ocean Park, and ShiLaoRen.
Qingdao seaside sightseeing path starts in Tuandao in the west, and meanders through XiLing Gorge, TaiPing Jiao, LuXun Park, NanHai Lu, HuiQuan Lu, ShanHai Guan Lu, HuangHai Lu, TaiPingJiao Yi Lu, TaiPingJiao Liu Lu, DongHai Lu, XiangGang Dong Lu and ends at ShiLaoRen.
