Notes on Qingdao Music and Art eXpo (MAX):
Started in 2007 and held at the beginning of spring, this Qingdao annual live music and creative art event usually held at Creative 100 Industry Park  brings bands & artists together from around China and abroad.  The weekend Rock-n-Roll / Alternative event draws the "young and restless" who are looking for alcohol fueled rock, punk, reggae, & hip-hop.  Following the weekend of live music, an art & photo exhibition showcases the creative talents of Qingdao's youth.

Qingdao Music and Art eXpo (MAX) 2009 was cancelled and moved to Club New York.
