First Annual Chinese Cultural Fair :: June 10-15th |

 The first ever Chinese Cultural Fair will be held June 10th through the 15th. This annual event will be held every year all over China. During the Chinese Cultural Fair the local museums will have reduced admissions and unique exhibitions that reflect the local culture and heritage of Qingdao. So take the time and "experience Qingdao!" For the opening ceremony Qingdao has planned some special events:
Saturday June 10:
Qingdao Municipal Museum - will offer free admission! They will have NEW exhibits that focus on local Qingdao Culture.
Qingdao Municipal Public Library - Lectures on the History and Culture of Qingdao.
Music Square - In the evening, local theatrical performances about Qingdao History and Culture.
HuaShi Villa (Badaguan) - Pictorial displays of old Qingdao.
TianHou Palace: Qingdao Folk Customs Museum - Chinese traditional toy exhibition, Miniture Traditional colthing exhibition, Hand crafts, Mazu (妈祖) culture exhibition.
Pingdu - Stone carvings on TianZhu Mountain.
Events for the Week:
FaiHaiSi Temple - Culture and art exhibitions of FoJiao (佛教).
LaoShan District - Cultural Relics Fair.
Jimo City Museum - Centennial Qingdao photo gallery "100 years of Qingdao's History."
