Is there any way you can get a license to have one? We want to have a work get together at the beach and we would make sure its cleaned up afterward!

The summer beach season is just around the corner and again this year The Qingdao City Government has announced a ban on Beach BBQs. The fine is 200RMB along with possible confiscation of your BBQ gear.

Damn those uncivilized residents and tourists who caused this ban! It was always a great joy to have your own BBQ party on the beach in Qingdao.

I agree with you, I also enjoyed BBQ on the beach with friends. It’s too bad that most tourists just leave their BBQ rubbish on the beach.
