 FaHaiSi Temple XiaZhuang Lu ChengYang District Qingdao, Shandong Province China 法海寺, 夏庄路, 中国山东省青岛市 Notes: The FahaiSi Temple might be one of the oldest or like a local said “The most ancient” Buddhist temple. It is located at the Summer Village Town in Mount Lao and was built in the period of Emperor Weiwu, which was over 1,700years age. In early years of the 1980s, a great deal of stone-carved statues from the North Dynasty were found 20 meters outside the temple. These valuable unearthed relics had been under the earth for more than 1,000 years and can be viewed the Qingdao Municipal Museum. Fahai Temple is relatively a quiet temple.
