The mixture of historical sites and attractions around Qingdao is an indication of the city's diverse international culture. Qingdao’s Old Town located in the German concession area is rich in European architecture.

Guangxi Lu (aka Prince Henry Road), the heart of Old Qingdao, provides travelers and tourists a unique view of European culture in Qingdao. The Governor's Residence and the old campus of Ocean University provide an insight into the city’s rich past.

Qingdao has many other spectacular places of interest that should not be missed. These include the TV Tower, Huadong Winery, and HuiQuan Square, just to name a few. If you have the time during your travels you should take the opportunity to get a birds-eye view of Qingdao from atop the Qingdao TV Tower as well as visit the Olympic Memorabilia Museum.

Perhaps the best panoramic view of the city's Old Town can be found at XinHaoShan Park (Signal Hill Park).
