The Qingdao Sailing Committee is the primary and organizational institution for the Sailing Regatta for the 29th Olympic games. Its' primary responsibility is to prepare and conduct the Sailing Regatta in the 29th Olympic games.

Qingdao Soil & Organic Life
The total area of soil in Qingdao is 825,500 hectares, composing 74.35% of the total land area.  There are approximately 421,000 hectares of tillable land and 38,000 hectares of beach in Qingdao. The soil is divided into 5 categories: umber, black earth, tidal earth, brown earth, and sailing soil. Umber is the prevalent soil type and is used for growing agricultural products.  There are over 1400 species of living organisms in Qingdao, including 1000 species of plant life and 400 species of animal life.
